Features 沙田婦女會

The Association was established in 1972 and is a non-profit charitable organization registered with the government.
There are more than 10,000 members in Sha Tin and Ma On Shan.
As the community environment in Sha Tin has changed, our services have also increased, including rescue services for women, the elderly, children and teenagers.
We currently have 6 service points located in Sun Tin Village, Yiu On Village, Yuen Yuan Village, Heng On Village, Li On Village and Sha Yu Village.In June 2009, it received funds from the Home Affairs Department to operate the first social enterprise supermarket in Yiu On Village under the name "Every Family Good".
In June 2010, it also received funding from the Environment and Nature Conservation Fund to operate (Green Garden Environmentally Friendly Farm) In 2012, we received funding from the Jockey Club Charities Trust to implement the "Womens School" course for a period of three years to help women in Sha Tin District increase their self-esteem and equip themselves, while also making our services more diversified and professional.
